has been training and development. It has a vast reservoir of
expert trainers and behavioral interventionists. More than 25,000
individuals in the private and public sectors have been trained
by the trust as part of their management training & development
programs. It conducts training programs on highly specialized
& general management themes for practicing managers at all
levels and value chains.
Besides many of the leading Goverment Public sector organizations
in India like Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL), IFFCO,
Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), IBP, Steel Authority of India
(SAIL), KRIBHCO, Punjab National Bank, Coal India Limited,
National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), IFFCO & KRIBHCO
in fertilizer sector it has also been actively involved in
training for some of the well known private companies like
Siemens, ACC Babcock, Optel Telecommunications, Tata Chemicals,
Rallis India, Hindustan Levers, Datapro, Blue Star, Ballarpur
industries (BILT), ACC Limited, DLF, Kajaria etc.
Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) is the apex policymaking
body of Goverment of India that governs the Public sector
industries. BPE has appointed HRD as one of the training organizations
for enhancing the skill development programs. It has been
conducting training workshops for many such large organizations
for several years
Between 1994 & 2000, HRD Foundation was assigned by World
Bank to undertake extensive training & education programs
for the Federal & State Governments of Nigeria.
Currently it is involved in an important HR Consulting assignment
for Goverment of Uttaranchal for a HRMS Project that has been
funded by the World Bank. The project is a part of implementing
the “e governance” initiative.
Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is the
nodal funding organization of Goverment of India that works
towards promoting entrepreneurship. Since 1998 HRD Foundation
has been retained by SIDBI to undertake entrepreneurial skill
development & consultancy programs to budding entrepreneurs.
HRD Foundation has organized a National Convention on Quality
Management in association with Bureau of Indian Standards
(BIS), the top national body for maintaining quality and standards
and Standing Committee of Public Enterprises (SCOPE).
In a knowledge led economy, people are the foremost resource
for any organization. HR Foundation has hence emerged as one
of the most important functions for any enterprise. With hiring,
recruitments and people management happening on an extensive
scale, there is a need for streamlining HR related business
processes. This problem is further compounded by the concept
of a global workforce – many multinationals hire and
retain talent from around the world in order to gain strategic
advantage and hence an efficient method of managing and mobilizing
a global workforce is a top priority.
Given the scale of HR operations, related administrative
and legal requirements, the HR function has huge cost ramifications
as well. Hence a large number of organizations are looking
at exploring HR business process outsourcing in order to realize
transform their HR processes using technology, improve their
